Our mission
Beauty is what awakens an aesthetic emotion in us, something pleasing to the eye and worthy of admiration. That is why designing and installing solar is not enough. We do it with minimal visual impact, to leave our children a world that is both beautiful and sustainable, a world worth living in.
At Ziterion, we design solar installations that let homes and buildings generate their own energy. We integrate solar, air-to-water heat pumps with underfloor heating and EV charging as one intelligent system that maximises efficiency, with solutions that blend into their surroundings and, when possible, elevate the architecture.
We do not just install solar panels, we design bespoke solutions
The solar market is dominated by offers driven purely by price. That doesn’t only mean lower-quality panels and components. It also means rush. Rush to sell, rush to design, and even more rush to install. All for one goal: volume.
Undersized systems. Equipment chosen for cost, not for criteria. Companies that show up, install, and disappear. Zero aesthetics, zero guidance, zero follow-through. And little to no commitment to long-term maintenance or responsibility.
Ziterion exists because someone decided not to accept that as normal. We believe an installation should be well thought through, well designed, and well executed.
We believe in rigorous engineering. Real listening. Safety as a non-negotiable pillar. And beauty as a responsibility. We don’t believe in selling fast without thinking and advising. We don’t impose solutions. We design tailored solutions. And it all starts slowly: listening, analysing, and designing.
Poorly installed solar is dangerous. It’s ugly. And it spoils the character of the place. That’s why at Ziterion we don’t “install panels”. Each project is conceived through engineering, executed with excellence, and integrated with respect for architecture and its surroundings.

We select manufacturers by one non negotiable criterion: maximum reliability. Our obsession with the training of our technical team and the quality of every component we deploy is not a feature. It is our essence.
We work with the precision of those who know every detail matters, and the determination of those who pursue perfection. We apply a demanding, meticulous eye to everything we do, refining, adjusting, and optimising every aspect of our service without pause.

Who’s behind Ziterion
Joan Lladó
Partner, Co-founder & CEO
Joan’s career began in Barcelona, where he graduated in International Business at the University of Barcelona. He completed the final two years of his degree in Germany at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Aachen), and later broadened his education in New Zealand, the United States, and France. He completed his academic journey with the Executive Master in Marketing and Sales, a joint programme by ESADE Business School, SDA Bocconi, and Cornell University.
He started his professional career in 2001 at Linde Gas AG in Germany. In 2006 he joined the founding team of Architonic AG, his first major professional milestone: a Swiss startup that built a digital specification tool for design products and materials, used by thousands of architects worldwide. Thanks to his vision, creativity, communication skills, and command of six languages, he developed Architonic’s business across multiple countries and consolidated its international presence. After more than a decade of growth and expansion, Architonic was acquired by the Swiss publishing group Neue Zürcher Zeitung Mediengruppe (NZZ).
In 2020 he co-founded Ziterion Engineering with his partner Noemí Cuscó, with the ambition to deliver intelligent energy solutions that are technically impeccable and aesthetically integrated. Joan strongly believes the energy transition should not only be efficient, but also beautiful. At Ziterion, he leads projects where engineering and design align, convinced that clean energy should never be at odds with architecture or technical excellence. His obsession is clear: to create sustainable, long-lasting, discreet systems that elevate architecture instead of invading it.
Noemí Cuscó
Partner, Co-founder & COO
Trained in interior design in Barcelona, Noemí began her professional career at the prestigious architecture studio of Óscar Tusquets Blanca, where she worked for 19 years. She started as an intern and steadily progressed within the team, moving through drafting, measurements, budget control, and project management. During this period, she completed an MBA at EAE Business School and eventually became a partner in one of the group’s companies.
She later joined Architonic AG, where for a decade she led, together with Joan, the company’s international expansion. Her role was key in managing and consolidating growth in France, Spain, Portugal, and South America, applying her analytical mindset and organisational strength in a highly demanding environment.
In 2020 she co-founded Ziterion Engineering with Joan, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer. Rigorous, precise, and meticulous, Noemí is the person who turns strategy into action. She leads the planning of every project with a level of rigour that borders on perfection, ensuring nothing fails and everything runs with the efficiency and elegance of a well-designed mechanism.
